On the fifth day of the Festival, the premiere of the play “Life in the event of war” was held as part of the artistic residencies of Ukrainian artists in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. The director of the show is Ula Kijak – a Polish activist, the text of the stage was prepared by Lena Laguszonkowa – a playwright.
The project was attended by: poet, writer and culture manager Ołena Boryszpołec, visual artist Justyna Mohytycz, actress, presenter and lecturer at the Kiev National University of Theater, Cinema and Television Yevheniya Nepytaliuk, actress of the Teatr im. Wasyla Wasylko in Odessa Zenia Doliak, student of the State Academy of Culture in Kharkiv Alona Karpenko, singer, flautist, improviser Jasia Sajenko.
The show is a co-production of the International Kontakt Festival in Toruń, the Horzyca Theater in Toruń, the Polish Theater in Bydgoszcz and the Municipal Cultural Center in Bydgoszcz.
On the sixth day of the Festival (May 26), students and young directors took part in meetings with the creators of the show “Life in the event of war” and with Norbert Rakowski. In CKK Jordanki Teatrul Național “I. L. Caragiale ”Bucureşti presented“ The Three Sisters ”directed by Radu Afrima. After the performance, the director and actors met with the audience.
