THE BIG SKY: from East to West
Wilam Horzyca Theatre (Toruń/Poland)

The oldest lake in the world – Lake Baikal – hides many secrets about its origins; and there are even more legends. Stories about this unique place have served as inspiration for this performance.

THE BIG SKY takes us on a journey like on a Trans-Siberian train into the depths of interpersonal relations, outlining landscapes of the body and the soul.

Natalia Iwaniec, together with a group of actors form the Wilam Horzyca Theatre, have put on a show, especially for the opening of the festival, in ‘Gaga’, an innovative movement language created by Ohad Naharin.

Running time: 30 minutes (without interval)

Choreography: Natalia Iwaniec

Costume design: Marta Kodeniec
